Yesterday was a beautiful, bright, sun-shiny day - no one wanted to be at work as it was perfect fishing weather. Now, since I have changed jobs and am working for an organisation that recognises that there are some days when going fishing is preferable to being at work (we get five hunting, fishng, gathering days per year), it made sense that a couple of people would take today off in the hopes that the weather would hold. It didn't. It is colder and cloudier and windier and generally, not as nice. I am glad I didn't go off today - and I feel bad for those who did!
