things are different working for Nuntsiavut. They take religious holidays seriously here and as a result, I have Thursday, Friday, and Monday off. Sure is different from LGH - they only give Good Friday as a day off - not Maundy Thursday or Easter Monday. Carolynn wants to go fishing and we are going with one of the women from my office. Yay! Hopefully we catch something this time!
Otherwise, things are ticking along. I have been doing research, starting groups and getting geared up for a conference that we are hosting as Mental Health workers. While Carolynn was away, I managed to get three doghouses built (which are the talk of the town, apparently) and I am looking forward to finishing all the "around the house" things that I have put off (shovelling out hte back door area is definitely one of those things!). I have made some plans for the summer and am hoping also to finalise our trip to Grey Cup in Toronto soon. Yee haw! So much to do.
I also was put on to a really cool community development project in Craik, Saskatchewan. Carolynn mentioned it and I am intrigued. Check out their website www.craik.ca - building lots are for sale for a dollar! The adjacent community is selling lots for $10. What a bargain! Now, if only there was work available, it would be perfect!
